In his highly anticipated speech in Phoenix, Arizona on Wednesday, Trump embraced a hardline conservative position saying he was in Mexico to discuss about a border wall and also reiterated that Mexico will pay for the wall. Trump also said "there will be no amnesty," for undocumented immigrants.

There are about 11 million illegal immigrants living in the U.S and Trump in his speech last night suggested that undocumented immigrants who are caught will be deported -- with no exceptions but didn't say if all 11 million immigrants will be deported.

"For those here illegally today who are seeking legal status, they will have one route and one route only. To return home and apply for re-entry like everybody else under the rules of the new legal immigration system that I have outlined today, They're great people, and great leaders," he said of Mexicans during his Phoenix speech, "but they're going to pay for the wall.  

Mexico will pay for the wall. 100%. They don't know it yet, but they're going to pay for the wall. It's our right as a sovereign nation to choose immigrants that we think are the likeliest to thrive and flourish and love us."

He also proposed forming an American immigration task force and said with his policies American lives and jobs will be safer.

"If we can save American lives, American jobs and American futures, together we can save America itself."

His Poll numbers increased after last night's speech meaning some Americans mainly whites see sense in his policies.

Protecting your skin from the damaging effects of the sun

Lines, dark spots are not the inevitable effect of aging but are often from sun exposure.

Too much sun is the skin's worst enemy. The only way to prevent premature aging and skin damage due to overexposure is to stay out of the midday sun when possible.

Exposure to the sun produces formation of molecules in the skin called free radicals and these molecules attack healthy skin cells, damaging and interfering with the production of new collagen. With destruction of the collagen fibers and hyaluronic acid molecules, the skin loses its firmness resulting in wrinkles.

Three types of radiation reach us from the sun. Visible and infrared rays provide light and warmth but ultraviolet rays are harmful. The sun's ultraviolet (UV) light falls into three wavelength bands: UVA, UVB and UVC.

Here are tips on how to protect your skin the damaging effect of the sun.

Stay out of the sun: Whenever possible stay out of the sun for long periods of time, especially between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., when rays are strongest.

Wear sunglasses: It is best to wear sunglasses that wrap around the eyes and have 100 percent UV-blocking lenses since most sunscreens are too harsh to use on the sensitive area around the eyes.

Protect exposed skin all year round: Wear sunscreen with an SPF (Sun protection factor) of 15 to 30, depending on the season and length of exposure. Long-sleeved shirts and wide brimmed hats provide some protecton. Remember, the sun penetrates through loosely woven and wet clothing very easily, so wear sunscreen even when covered. Also apply liberally, use about one teaspoon to your face and at least one ounce (about a sot glass) to your body each day. The face and hands are high-risk areas for cancer, so apply liberally to those areas.

If you have a sensitive skin: Use a cream-based product and avoid sunscreens with tretinoin which dries the skin also look for a fragrance-free, hypoallergenic sunscreen if you have any allergies to skin products.

Nigerian Ports Authority Bans Staff From Wearing These Types Of Dresses

Nigerian Ports Authority general manager, was quoted to have said;

“It has been observed that despite the issuance of a couple of circulars vide HQ/GMHR/CON/G.3/128 of 25th August, 2008 and HQ/CR/AD/G.1/3039 of 19th December, 2014 on corporate Dress Code, some employees still indulge in improper dressing to the office.

For the avoidance of doubt, it is hereby reiterated that inappropriate dressings such tight jeans trousers, cut-off trousers, mini-skirts/dresses, tummy and navel shirt transparent/exposing outfits, spaghetti strapped dresses, mismatched clothes, rubber slippers, tattered shoes and rough hairstyles, (to mention but a few) that are unnecessary distractions, would no longer be condoned and will henceforth attract appropriate sanctions.”

Gabon Parliament set on fire after President Ali Bongo was declared winner

Angry protesters on Wednesday, set fire to Gabon’s national assembly as thousands of people took to the streets after an announcement that President Ali Bongo had been re-elected.

The clashes erupted immediately Bongo was declared the winner of Saturday’s presidential poll, with opposition supporters chanting “Ali must go".

Two people were killed and dozens injured injured as Gabon security forces stormed the opposition's headquarters early Thursday morning, a source inside the building said.

"They attacked around 1:00 am (0000 GMT). It is the Republican Guard. They were bombarding with helicopters and then they attacked on the ground. There are 19 people injured, some of them very seriously,"  said Ping, who was not at the party headquarters himself.

The president of the opposition National Union party, Zacharie Myboto, who was inside the besieged building, said security forces were hurling tear gas canisters and had opened fire.

"For nearly an hour the building has been surrounded. They want to enter the building… it is extremely violent," he said shortly after the siege began.

A government spokesman said the operation was to catch “criminals” who had earlier set fire to the parliament building.

"Armed people who set fire to the parliament had gathered at Jean Ping’s headquarters along with hundreds of looters and thugs… they were not political protesters but criminals,”"said Alain-Claude Bilie-By-Nze.

A heavy military and police presence had brought large parts of Libreville to a standstill and internet access has also been cut.

"We have said that the people of Gabon are in danger. They (the international community) should come and help us against the clan (of Bongo)," Ping told AFP.

Results of the presidential election were announced Wednesday afternoon, handing Bongo a second term and extending the nearly five decade-long rule by his family.

The results, which gave Bongo 49.8 percent to Ping’s 48.23 percent  remain “provisional” until they are approved by the constitutional court.

The opposition has described the election as fraudulent and called for voting results from each of Gabon’s polling stations to be made public to ensure the credibility of overall outcome.

Bongo took power in 2009 in a violence-marred election that followed the death of his father Omar Bongo, who had ruled the oil-rich former French colony for 41 years.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon called for calm and expressed concern over the clashes and reports of arson, urging political leaders "to address their differences peacefully and to address any disputes they may have through existing constitutional and legal channels", the UN said in a statement.

Notorious kidnappers arrested in Benue State, six children...

Members of a notorious kidnapping gang that has been terrorizing Benue state were arrested today by Benue state security agencies. Six school children were rescued, some have been reunited with their families while some are yet to identify their parents.

Addressing news men in Makurdi, Governor Ortom reiterated that kidnappers and other criminals has no place in Benue and call on the people of the state to remain resolute and assist the security agencies to curb more criminals in the state as his administration will continue to do his best to chase away criminals in order to provide a conducive environment for investors come in.
